We are a Canterbury company that prides itself on utilising local expertise. We recognise the importance of experience. That’s because we are firm believers that, while the power of the new look is all well and good, each piece we sell must withstand the test of time.

The best craftsmen are those who have seen how various pieces of furniture have weathered and changed to suit a variety of roles over the years. That way they know how to work back, to reverse-engineer the process for the best of results.

We’ve all lived in this area for a long time now, and the influences we bring to our design and production can be seen in the landscape and culture around us. We believe in a holistic approach to our labour. We wanted to therefore move away from the mass-produced look, crafting work to the high standards of old and ensuring the next generation can also appreciate the emphasis we have placed on quality.

Importantly to, we want this range to be approachable. That means a similarly rigorous approach to cost-effectiveness in production and market delivery. While European imports continue to be out of reach for the average consumer, we wanted furniture produced in New Zealand to still be enjoyed. So we’ve made it as affordable as possible.
