What we’re made of

We always look to balance our ability to produce economically viable furniture for a wide market while maintaining our commitment to a variety of ecologically aware measures.
 
Our frames are made from NZ Beech and Pine, harvested from sustainable forests and kiln dried. We also actively recycle using pine offcuts from export orders to supplement our stocks. We also have reconstituted veneers for hard furniture and cardboard (details to come).

The fabrics we use are the finest quality available from NZ and European sources and we support the use of environmentally friendly materials. While elastic is the modern standard it’s environmental impact is greater than other options so, where possible, we use jute and hessian. We support NZ Tasman Leather.
